A week after Memorial Day, Tom MacDonald attempts to re-focus people's attention on the men and women who serve in the American Armed Forces - and the brutal reality many face after being discharged. The short-film style visuals were written and directed by MacDonald, while the song was produced by Vancouver veteran Stroker DeLuca. Cinematography by Nick Kedrock.
"The last video I released was somewhat light-hearted. This one, however, you can't sugarcoat. Having spent the better part of the last couple of years in the United States, the subjects this video touches on are very real. I saw countless veterans on the streets in California. A lot of them were suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other related conditions. It has literally destroyed their entire lives and it's important to shed light on these issues," said MacDonald.
