A week after Memorial Day, Tom MacDonald attempts to re-focus people's attention on the men and women who serve in the American Armed Forces - and the brutal reality many face after being discharged. The short-film style visuals were written and directed by MacDonald, while the song was produced by Vancouver veteran Stroker DeLuca. Cinematography by Nick Kedrock.
“Fight Your Fears” was shot in Los Angeles and follows a couple through a series of pivotal moments during their relationship. They’re young, broke and fearless - a combination that ultimately amplifies the toxicity of their relationship to an unmanageable level. Their camaraderie exists in the grey area between lust and love - and it is in this grey area where the story unfolds and the video takes place.
Furthering the rising heat for his mixtape LeeAnn’s Son, Tom MacDonald is back with another original video, this time for his second single “House in the Hills”. As always, MacDonald took the lead in directing and producing the visuals, with filming by Jeremy Cox. Set 25 years into the future, the short gives an intimate look into MacDonald’s life, while the track reflects his current ambitions.
