Benny Boom

Future f/ Pharrell, Pusha T "Move That Dope" (Benny Boom, dir.)

There's an '80s throwback TV show vibe to this ode to slinging dope, from the old-school cell phone, the gold chains and some cop chases.  And Reagan.

PS: I have a feeling that we're going to see more Beats Music video placements than Beats By Dre headphones this year. Anyone want to keep track of them for me?

PPS: Yes, of course Pharrell wears the hat.

Wale f/ Nicki Minaj & Juicy J "Clappers" (Benny Boom, dir.)

Maybe you remember the Bubba Sparxxx "Ms. New Booty" video that began with a faux infomercial for booty padding? Well, that absurdity is now basically a reality — thank you, lovemybubbles.com — and Twerkin' is a household word thanks to Miley Cyrus. But, much like U2 stole that song back from Charlie Manson, Wale is stealing the ass-clap back with some help from Juicy J and Nicki Minaj. The video features lots of booty, but keeps it fun and fairly tame — we're much closer to "Thong Song" than the heart of darkness that is "Tip Drill".

My only complain? It should be 3-D.

Snoop Dogg "Boom! There They Go" (Benny Boom, dir.)

Let The Bass Go (Music From The Motion Picture 'Turbo')

Usually when Snoop hoists a cup it's the Cannibus Cup. Or his Pimp Chalice. That's not the case in this family friendly clip to support Turbo, new Dreamworks Animated snail-racing movie, as Snoop builds a speed machine to beat all challengers.
