Singer-songwriter mxmtoon is sucked into a video game where she faces a series of challenges rooted in her complicated relationship with her grandmother. The video, by LA-based director Jane Chow, explores how saying the words “I love you” can be difficult, and celebrates the many different ways in which cross-cultural families express love.
