I am Vinícius Lessa de Andrade Teixeira (born August 2, 1991), known as Nissu, a Dublin-based singer and songwriter, originally from Brazil. In 2012 I launched the first version of my debut single called "Forever Mine", co-written by my friend Ma Viana, followed by a music video that I used to help the "marriage equality campaign" in Brazil. The video was shared by the official campaign Facebook social media and went on blogs, websites and TV all over the world hitting the mark of over 90.000 views on YouTube. I moved to Dublin to improve my writing skills and to work on my music. I worked with the producer Trey Vittetoe, who worked with names like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry, on a new version for this song and was released as the First Single of my upcoming EP on the 8th of February. Forever Mine is about love and how you feel about someone you love no matter what the world may say. The song was followed by a new music video which features couple's pictures from all over the world disregarding sexuality, gender, nation, etc. The couples were personally chosen by me because their relationship inspired this new project (including vloggers, bloggers, couples that got their love shared on the news, Ru Paul's Drag Race Queens, and more); still carrying the same equality love message as the first version.
I want to bring with this EP, a sense of the way I see the world through some experiences and make people feel the same way I do about some matters.
