OK, I give up. This is perfect. A loose remake of Weezer's debut video "Undone" as the music video for their remake of Toto's "Africa," but with master parodist Weird Al Yankovic sitting in for frontman Rivers Cuomo.
Not to be crass, but the creative and lyrics on an "I'm so handy" parody of "Fancy" could have gone in a very NSFW direction. But, Weird Al is like Wu-Tang: He's for the children. And handy is anything but all-thumbs with our hero as a jack-of-all-tradesmen.
PS: I apologize for all the puns, but not the Wu-Tang reference.
The third installment of Weird Al's 8 Days of Music Videos — aka the Hannukah of parody music videos — is a "Royals" riff paying homage to the glory of aluminum foil. Sir Yankovic covers both ends of the spectrum: keeping food fresh, and preventing your brain waves from operating correctly.
Nerdist does seem like the right place to premiere a new Weird Al video, even though I'd think most nerds would grumble about the quality of the player. Or maybe I'm a nerd. Anyway, here's "Weird" Al Yankovic, who was likely doing music video parodies before you were even doing videos. "Happy" is more homage than parody: We get Al, followed by guest stars Aisha Tyler, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, Jack Black, and Eric Stonestreet, all doing the Happy Dance to the camera.
