Kevin Gates "Great Man" (Anthony Pham and Pasqual Gutierrez, dir.)

For "Great Man," Godless directors Pasqual Gutierrez and Anthony Pham use their hybrid documentary/portrait-style video as a way to highlight fathers of color in Los Angeles, the everyday heroes who aren't always in the limelight but are the backbone of many communities. Anchored by scenes of Kevin Gates and his children, the video tells the story of several families in the LA area, and even features a cameo from Pasqual and Pham with their dads.

Shooting in India for The Staves "Blood I Bled" (Nick Rutter, dir.)

Shooting in India was an all consuming exhilarating experience, but not without its challenges. The first things you notice are the heat, the golden light and the smell of a vast city, all of which bowl you over in very different ways. Our intention was to shoot most of the video in inner city Mumbai but the insane traffic put a stop to that idea so we had to search further out. We were granted quite incredible access to a suburb about 2 hours drive from central Mumbai in a region called Uran.
