Coppe', the "Legendary Godmother of Japanese Electronica" and former Hawaiian citizen, recently spent time back on the sunny island but was disturbed to find out that a well known local cultural icon was due for demolishion in the spring 2014.
For years a giant abandoned industrial site in Kakaako, Honolulu has been a mecca for talented, emerging and budding graffiti artists from around the world, and has become something of a local urban tapestry for the island. Coppe' and her film maker friend decided to take a go-pro camera and a skipping rope to the scene capture what they can, while they can.
Put to the trippy, ambient and abstract track 'Liquid Brain' (produced with Cai Murphy, and only available as the B-side on the exclusive 5" mini vinyl featured in the physical CD edition of recent album; 'Void'), the results are a warped, lo-fi but fitting tribute to a treasured urban landmark.

Coppe' will be touring the UK and Europe in October in collaboration with UK label Bit-Phalanx Music.
