NEW RELEASE: The Apples In Stereo "Can You Feel It"

can you feel it This kind of music used to be called power pop, but that term is somewhat misleading these days — even if for no other reason than the sad fact that most kids instantly associate pop with pap like Pussycat Dolls and "My Humps." So, instead, let's say that The Apples In Stereo makes the kind of insanely melodic and instantly memorable rock songs that — to quote a lyric of  "Can You Feel It" — make you feel good. B&W photographs of band mastermind Robert Schneider singing the tune are placed in a graphical depiction of music and lots other things that are good for you. --> watch "Can You Feel It" via YouTube

ps: Speaking of "power pop" classics, director Nol Honig also did the video for Guided By Voices "Glad Girls," which is arguably the finest example of the form. That's highly recommended as well.
