Rob Thomas Her Diamonds Alicia Silverstone is trapped under ice in this slick video for the equally slick new Rob Thomas single, "Her Diamonds." Director Dave Meyers depicts the actress as being literally frozen in a bedroom, sealed off from the outside world like a post-carbonite Lando Calrissian. The song and the sun work their magic, melting away the coldness and bringing her back into the real world. --> watch "Her Diamonds"

It's a great video and other than loving the tune, it certainly left me wondering how they made the melting ice scenes look so natural with her appearing to be inside the ice... On a Geekier note - I suspect you meant Han Solo and not Lando Calrissian - otherwise, great post ;)

You know what's extra sad? I actually went to Wookiepedia to make sure I had the details of Carbonite correct. Doh. I think I just wanted to write Lando Calrissian on the blog somewhere.
