One thing about Thirty Second To Mars and director Bartholomew Cubbins — who is to 30STMs singer Jared Leto as Wolf Haley is to Tyler The Creator — is that they know how to go big. And "Up In The Air" is massive in every way — the intro, the interlude, the location and the collaborators, which runs the gamut of several A-list circles. There's striptease icon Dita Von Teese, art icon Damien Hirst, gymnasts Jordyn Wieber and McKayla Maroney, photographer Maxwell Snow, author Neil Strauss, lots of models, and a padded pink mechanical bull.
It's a massive production — something made clear from the first minute of this nearly 8 minute long opus, but really driven home by the lengthy end credits which rival those of most movies.
