Train singer Pat Monahan slips in his earbuds and goes for a beautiful walk that gets more and more joyous as ridiculous all along the way — and which includes a visual hint to anyone trying to place this song's familiar melody.
A bit of vintage '60s flavor throughout this one from Train. It looks like the making of an ad (magazine, not TV — it is the '60s, after all), complete with retro product placement (the camera, not just the car) and an unexpected and scene-stealing dream sequence.
First off, Danny Trejo rules. And I daresay his role in this Train video is his best since Machete — in fact, I'm pretty sure he's playing Machete here. Second off, there's no way Trejo would let Train singer Pat Monahan out alive — in real life, or in a music video. Otherwise: Trejo, and Train, for the win.
